Parakeets near to my home

Last Friday I was able to see two birds more to my yearlist:

--- Psittacidae ---
124. White-eyed Parakeet
125. Canary-winged Parakeet

Both of them were introduced in Buenos Aires where they adapted to the enviroment and now they reproduced themselve.

Southern Entre Rios

Yesterday I was again at the area of the south of Entre Rios province around the towns Ceibas and Perdices (Attached the maps of the route from Buenos Aires to the birdwatching place). I went there with Pete Simpson and a friend, Daniel. On the way we stopped a few minutes at the Otamendi reserve and looked for the Reedhaunters. We were lucky and found the Curve-billed Reedhaunter. Also we could see two Short eared Owls. Then we continued to the south of Entre Rios and stayed there for the day. We began returning from there after we saw the Mac Naught comet. Was a hot but very productive day: a total of 130 species.
