Hi Mike, Unfortunately I'm not familiar with your scope and adaptor, but I do have a P6000. One important piece of info you leave out is, which eyepiece are you using? If by any chance you're using a zoom, don't initially use it over the minimum (20?) You say you have problems at higher mags, but you don't make it clear if you're referring to camera or eyepiece. Again, a rough guide is 2/3 camera zoom. If you've tried these combinations with no success, my suggestion would be to have a go without the adaptor. Just simply offer your camera up to the eyepiece and, using one of the fingers of your left hand as a brake to ensure your camera lens doesn't touch your eyepiece, pre-focus and shoot. The P6000 is rubbish for this type of test really, because it doesn't have a rapid shot facility, but if you take a series of shots carefully it should prove something. One thing I would make sure of in this test is that your shutter speed is at least 1/250th. Don't worry about 'noise', use a higher ISO. This is a test just to see if you can get a sharp image with your particular camera, scope and eyepiece. Having just read back your thread again, I just want to be certain; you are half depressing the shutter to pre-focus before you shoot aren't you? All the best Max
