Excluding skinks, which this clearly isn't, there's one widespread native species: the Atlantic (Haria) Lizard, Gallotia atlantica. There also appear to be a couple of species introduced from other islands in the Canaries complex (using Wildlife of Madeira & Canary Islands by John Bowler 2018) in Western Canaries Lizard, G. galloti around Pajara & also Gran Canary Giant Lizard, G. stehlini at 2 sites in Tuineje. Was this location at either of the named introduction sites? Otherwise likely to be the one native one unless the status of the others has changed.
