Gambia, Feb 2016 - Cisticola & Prinia? (1 Viewer)

I am still sorting through the hundreds of photographs I took on holiday. I have identified the majority but as I am sorting through the last few I am starting to doubt myself. These photographs were all taken at the same time and at the same location. I thought I'd got Singing Cisticola but has a Tawny-flanked Prinia slipped into the group?

The first three images are of Singing Cisticola (stouter bill, no white in tail tips, plain rufous wing panel, and grey/brown shoulder).

The last two images are adult Tawny-flanked Prinia (smaller bill, bright brown eye, dark eye-stripe and lighter supercilium).

Cheers

Olly
