We are considering flying into BJL Gambia and hiring a guide for a week in Gambia then self driving around Senegal for a week returning to BJL, can anyone advise on the logistics of hiring a car? Eg where would we pick it up and can you use a car hired in G and drive into Senegal. Is 1 week enough in The Gambia? Do we go along the south bank and back along the north bank of the river G or would we pick up a car in Senegal east of The G?
