When I photographed this bird I thought that it was a Blackcap (lots of these in the garden) but after downloading the picture I realized that it wasn't. I decided that it was a Garden Warbler (not uncommon in our garden) but that beak looks very large. I lightened the picture but I'm not sure it helps much.
