general ID of bird found on tarot card... (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

I hope I'm not terribly out of line posting this here, but I'm hoping for some kind assistance from wild bird lovers. I'm doing a study/art project based on a tarot card and I was wondering if you would mind giving me some idea of what kind of bird the bird in the card seems to be.

It doesn't need to be terribly exact-- just an idea, in general, of what family of bird it might be, based on its beak or shape, or so on.

Thanks so much for your help, and please excuse me for jumping into your forum like this.

The bird can be seen on the card here:

Thanks again

Just to add another thought, Magpie-Jay? The bill isn't necessarily right, but somehow that's what the photo struck me as.

Cheers,
Benji
