Giant Wrens at La Blanca (Los Limones) (1 Viewer)

With nothing more than an ebird map of locations for Giant Wrens in Guatemala I visited the site at La Blanca in June. Even though it was during the hottest part of the day, the wrens were very responsive and easily viewable. The local people are aware of the wrens and were helpful during my visit. The main site is a lane leading from the main road at a left-hand bend at 14.58275 -92.14749. This is the only area for these wrens in Guatemala, being mainly a species restricted to the Pacific coast of Mexico.
