Global birdfair exhibiting advice (1 Viewer)

Hi All
My partner is considering exhibiting his handmade knitted birds at the birdfair this year. His items are relatively low value and he doesn't earn a lot from them but he is keen to come and showcase them to hopefully sell a few and also increase his Etsy shop sales in the future.
Obviously the cost of a stand is a little (!) eye watering for someone that just does this on the side, and so it might be that he does it purely for just showcasing them and the experience of exhibiting at birdfair.
Just wondered if anyone else has been in a similar position, most people that seem to exhibit are more established artists.
Thank you

I'm just going to jump in here and wish you a warm welcome from those of us on staff here at BirdForum (y)

Thank you! I am a keen garden bird watcher so will explore the rest of the forum at some point :)

Hi suzynic and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.

Some places will let people share a table/booth. You might contact the fair and ask if that's possible, and if so, if anyone else has asked about going halves on a spot.
