Glossy or White-faced Ibis midwest USA (1 Viewer)

Well-known member
Glossy or White-faced Ibis? Although both are not common here, Glossy the
least common, we do occasionally get them passing through.

Think it might be a juvenile so not having a red eye is no help.
Videos and more shots here.
Any help appreciated
Thanks

Is it even possible to separate young birds of the 2 species in the field? The big Sibley's certainly not much help.

I won't go too far out on a limb on this but the old Natl. Geo. guide that I have refers to Glossy Ibis having a "short pale line from eye to bill" that White-face do not have. The bird in these pics seems to possess such a trait so ... Glossy?

If I saw it down here, I would assume Glossy (default Florida)but leave it un ID'd ,as I don't think this bird is (yet) showing developement of a reddish eye and the facial markings are also inconclusive.
If the photos weren't as good I'd have a guess!
