Seen this afternoon and I am sure it's a Goldcrest but a friend says it's a Firecrest my ID was based on no dark eye stripe..
 
Male Goldcrests have orange crowns, as in your photo, maybe that's why your friend thought it was a Firecrest.
 
The eye of the Goldcrest stands out on the relatively plain face as in your pictures. On the Firecrest, there is a black bar in the area of the eye so the eye does not stand out at all. Hope this helps.
