Golden-rod Pug caterpillar? (1 Viewer)

I spotted this tiny caterpillar munching on the Golden-rod in my garden.It does not have the usual chevron patterning of the Golden-rod Pug moth caterpillar but shares all the other features. Any thoughts much appreciated.
