Google Street View birding (1 Viewer)

All Common Starlings for me! But yes, Bee-eaters should be findable somewhere . . . keep looking!

I’m going try doing this on my laptop instead of a small mobile tablet - problem is I need a new graphics card for the laptop so picture quality won’t be that much better.

This takes me back to birding in my teens with a very cheap pair of bins and no scope, trying to ID waders from half a mile away - At least then, I had the benefit of flight and feeding movement jizz!

Ps is anyone else getting frustrated with the google driver flushing everything and choosing the wrong time of year for a drive around :-O

Chimango -38.005635, -57.542841 (ff24851135); also Spot- winged Pigeons in the same park, a group of 3 and a better single, but I’ve lost them for the time being.

I have "traveled" many roads, but finally I have found the desired candidate: Dalmatian Pelican! |:d|

It’s a good park in Mar del Plata. Two birds at -38.006203, -57.542967 (b08f3cfbe4); Chiguanco Thrush by the shadow, and possibly Rufous Hornero for the pale one.

Oh well, checking my notes I did have Starling (and House Sparrow, how could I forget it ?, in Mar del Plata, as well as Hornero. Shame it’s not a legitimate site.

Great place to see places I visited before, ones I want to visit and ones I will never be able to visit, I am afraid. I saw in the TV that Keas visit ski resorts in New Zeanad. So I checked and bingo!

I could not find Buffalo in Yellowstone, just a couple of unrecognizable blobs. Nor Elk in Banff.

Kenya is disappointing, but I scored:
Vulturine Guineafowl

Nutcracker, you overlooked my yesterday post #332. Since that I added Chacma Baboon from Botswana:

And the second species of Elephant (wild! Note the electric fence. Wild Asian Elephants are hanging next to the road in Uva Valuve begging for snacks).
