Google Street View birding (1 Viewer)

This came up when I just did an internet search https://goo.gl/maps/4fj3EvqHjPW2Yi578

Given the location, I suspect it would have had to be a really lucky guess to chance upon that one (it was the same one I found mentioned in an article I found).

Think both of these are "See Inside" rather than actual Google Street View so they wouldn't have counted (Sooty tern is on the list anyway) based on Nutcracker's criteria for inclusion.

I wonder if list of species with URLs can be shared if I don't have a Facebook account?

All specied have links & images. There is a shared document so it is theoretically possible but i am not going to put a link on a public forum.

They also list, birders, mammals, bird models & signs, among other things.

It would be interesting to compare lists and see if Birdforum has anything up on them!

Oh OK... i was just making sure it didn't have someones name, But now I will make sure it says Street view there. No biggie if it was already on the list.

Is there a way to pin the list to the start of the thread, so I/we don't have to keep searching for it?

Bird list to #580 (numbers won't match exactly, but are there for a running total). Thanks to Essex Tern for the starting point of the list with links.

Any ideas on this? My thoughts are either a Juvie Red-billed Tropicbird or a Southern Fulmar,

Young Swallow Tailed Gull, I think but Galapagos appear to be mostly (if not all?, "See Inside").

Good call on the Gull.

Not all Galapagos are "see inside". It is odd because they are street view when I start and then as I move along to the blue street view path I guess they change to SEE INSIDE at certain spots. Not even sure what "see inside" means...

Thanks @ Stonehaven for updating the list! I'm still on very limited computer access and likely to remain so for a while (repair shops all shut due to that virus :C).

If you can, best to slot the recent additions into IOC order, otherwise you'll end up forgetting what's what and start double-counting birds we've already had :t:

Yep, seems to be a quirk of 'See Inside' that they start off as 'Street View' but change into 'See Inside' on the 2nd or 3rd move, but also stay 'See Inside' if you go back to the 1st one. It means they need to be checked carefully!

Does that Farcebook list use the same restrictions on what counts? I'm not on Faceache so probably wouldn't be able to see it even if I had a properly functioning computer.
