Just wondered if anyone could confirm this as being a Freyer's Grayling.

It could be but the other possibility is an Hipparchia statilinus.

I agree Shane,
I edged towards the Hipparchia factua because of the more pronounced wavy median and submarginal lines and irregular basal line,which apparently are less obvious on the Hipparchia statilinus ,a difficult one!!!!
