Just wondered if anyone could confirm this as being a Freyer's Grayling.

I agree Shane,
I edged towards the Hipparchia factua because of the more pronounced wavy median and submarginal lines and irregular basal line,which apparently are less obvious on the Hipparchia statilinus ,a difficult one!!!!

Yes ,true,I have just been reading other links and the median,sub marginal and basal lines do seem to be the key to identifying/comparing this species.
