Dear Members and Bird Watchers!

In Houston and suddenly a group of Great-tailed Grackle landed on my boat. I took a few pictures and I discover that the Great-tailed Grackle had brought a friend with them in the group.

I think it is a female, but when I look at the picture I discover that it is another bird.

Anyone here able to ID the bird?

Kind Regards and Happy Birding
Aladdin

Thank you very much Owene!

Maybe so, the bird on my picture seems to have a striped head. The birds in my book have a more even brown head. It can be very hard for me to give ID on some of the birds. In OPUS the bird looks the be more evenly brown, a little lighter head and chest.

Thanks for the help, really appreciated.

Kind Regards
Aladdin
