Great Tit's Fledging (1 Viewer)

What a beautiful day it's been. I've had Greenfinches visit my garden(a 1st) and had the pleasure of watching one of my parent great tit's coerce it's chicks out of the box. I was able to take a rough picture...I'm not a pro, of parent and one chick just left the nest box as you can see to the left. I haven't seen the chicks or parents all day so hope they come back. Haven't heard any chicks in the box either so assuming all have gone. Will leave it a few days b4 I check.

I expect the great tits will hang around your garden for a little while. Nice to get a greenfinch visitor.

Great Tits are fledging around me too. Seen a few this week.

Sadly, Greenfinch became very scarce round here for some years, numbers are only just building up again, so I rarely see them.

Sadly no, I've just enjoyed watching the parents visits this week. Hopefully I'll see the youngsters around the garden.
