Hello,

I live in Lake County Florida. I am looking to photograph Green Herons. Does anyone know where would be a good location to find them?

I have no idea, but would give ebird a try and see what shows up.

Around here (Massachusetts) they're found in the salt marsh, in the various channels & creeks or at the edge of pannes (the flat muddy/wet areas)

From Lake County, you are perfectly positioned to visit Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive, which is partly in ... Lake County. You won't be there long before finding Green Heron.

The same applies to any large, open marsh area, but LAWD is surely the closest for you.

Thanks for the info. I have been twice no luck so far. But the place is fantastic for a variety of bird life.
