I am originally from UK but have lived in Asia for about 14 years, the last 8 years here in Taiwan. We have many wild birds here which I see on my daily walks. I am really a complete beginner, and so will be asking plenty of questions, I am sure!

I lived in Taiwan (Taipei) for 4 years (2003-2007) but I wasn't a birder at the time, which I really regret now!
It's a wonderful country with wonderful people. I loved it.
