Pretty much as BS noted earlier today plus couple of White Wagtails, LRP & Redshank.
Hi Bri
any lapwings...we have lost all of ours
As Marks says, these are the two sites that are favoured at the moment. 3-4 pairs seem to be settling in at Camp Lane Pits and maybe a few pairs will attempt to nest at Sling Pool if the farmer's pump doesn't dry it out anytime soon. Was good in the winter here, with numbers peaking at c580.

C.40 Pied Wagtails were present along shoreline. No sign of any White Wags but there were a couple of very pale 2nd calendar year female Pied Wags that could possibly be mistaken for White Wagtails without checking out in a scopeJase
Agree Jase. This happens every year. The first claim of White at Grimley was on March 1st this year, way before the first was noted on Portland! Make of that what you will......
There were 15 LRPs at CLP yesterday morning so sounds like a few moving through there.

Nice Record Image! :t: Whats it like there for photographing the birds are they close or far away?
