It’s very skulky and was seen across quite a big area of essentially identical wood.

Had a tooth out in the week which also required a couple of stitches- which was nice. Decided the best medicine was a morning’s birding.

Headed up to Slimbridge. Far too busy for my taste but nice to pass my year list record with a great view of the Pratincole and some ropey Barnacle Geese.

Finally managed to get out of the house today. Took it easy with a short walk at Llyn Llech Owain. Good numbers of common birds but also a Willow Tit visiting the feeders.

That sounds great. Sarah has a Samaritans shift 6-9 and wants a new years sea swim so definitely not a full day but hopefully will fit in Cosmeston
