Not sure which one this is: Herring Gull, LBBG or GBBG?
Help much appreciated!

Kees

it's not a GBBG.
bill and head structure say LBBG. it might be a 3rd cycle, some of which still can show pinkish legs but usually at this time of year not. birds with this "impossible" combination (LBBG with pinkish legs) usually are considered to be hybrids with herring gull, a view on primary pattern could have confirmed/reinsured that. any more pics, kees?

Thanks Lou and Nutcracker for your reply!
There's only one more I can show, the same bird, yawning .
The pose of the bird is not much different from my first one, but I hope it may be helpful!!
The picture is taken in Terneuzen, in the town, maybe 2 km from the Western Scheldt.
Regards, Kees
