can anyone confirm ID as Yellow-legged gull?

Yes, I agree with Yellow leggeg gull.
Square head with strong, brightly cloured bill and narrow quite distinct black tail band and good looking pale inner primaries (not to strong as in Hering, not to weak as in LBBG) seems good for this species.
