Dear all,

Are both of them Caspian Gull Larus cachinnans?
Location: Tiab creek, near Bandar Abbas, South of Iran.
Date: March - 23- 2016

Looks like an adult and a 3rd Winter L.cachinnans to me?

The paler mantled bird looks like an eastern cachinnans type or possibly barabensis, the right-hand individual spot-on for heuglini.

The light mantled ones are steppe gulls, the dark mantled ones heuglin'd gulls
