Common Gull ?

Hello Surfan,

these are two Common Gulls for me too. Dove like jizz, espacially by round-headed, small billed shape and pear-shaped head-body looks good.
At least one is a 1cy bird, the one with the extensive dark centered scapulars.
I am not so sure about the second, but if forced I would opt for another 1cy bird, because the appearant predominantly grey saddle seems only the result of picture quality and harsh light burning out/erasing the dark centered scapulars.
(Do I still have to write my usual words with an experienced member?)
