Gull - Lancashire, March 2018 (1 Viewer)

This gull was at Southport Marine Lake this weekend. Clearly darker than the argenteus Herrings, but also visibly lighter than the LBB's. The light was not great and the birds maybe look slightly darker than they were in these images - the clear LBB in the pics was a "typical" graellsii. Legs appeared yellow, sorry no flight shots, but wing tip was very dark with just a mirror on P10 and maybe a small one on P9

Hybrid Herring/LBB or just a very pale LBB? Thoughts welcome
