Gull Sp - Somerset (1 Viewer)

Found this bird today at Sutton Bingham Res, Somerset, but I'm not a expert with larids.

Shows some caspian-like features; obvious long bill, long neck and wings, a rather white head, sloping forehead, a dark eye, a shawl of brown streaks on the back of the neck. It was slightly but obviously larger than the other Herring/LBBG present. Also it habitually pointed its head and bill downwards.

Pictures (scroll down to see): http://olisbirdblof.blogspot.co.uk/2016/06/had-look-at-sutton-bingham-this.html

Unfortunately, didn't see it fly or land on the ground.

All thoughts welcome.
Thanks in advance.

not excluded to be a caspian but it is not ideal for it. while bill shape would be more or less ok, tertials seem to have some weird herring gull like pattern at their edges, p10 seem to lack a (small) mirror, no median covert seems to be replaced and wings are not particularly long, so, without an open wing shot i'd leave it unidentified and say it's probably a 3cy herring gull..., sorry.
