I will be doing the SPRING ALL DAYER tomorrow 02/05/2020 from my back garden starting at around 6am and watching the garden and surrounding areas all day till around 20.45pm so will list on here 03/05/2020.

Early walk with my best friend to take in the local fields (Lutley Wedge/Mere's fields) started out at around 5.45am here is the list so far today will add garden list later.

Please note will add the birds as I see them not in any family order.

Also over today but not 100% on identification maybe others may have seen these birds in the area if not don’t worry as not on my list’s

A Tern over my garden around 17.05pm unsure as to what species but did look like a Common

3 Buzzards above house high up 2 definite Buzzards but the third was a smaller bird but had a flight like a buzzard and a slightly straighter tail again not on my list this was around 17.30pm

Just a quick update on Juvenile birds I have seen in my garden so far-

Magpie, Blue tit, Great tit, Robin, Starling, Blackbird, Dunnock, Sparrowhawk, Wren, Song thrush, Chaffinch, Goldfinch, Blackcap, Carrion crow & Loads of House Sparrows

11/06/2020 Highlights from a garden watch today -

Male Kestrel, Buzzard, Sparrowhawk, Whitethroat, Nuthatch feeding young, Bullfinch feeding young, Green Woodpecker juvenile & Pheasant female with 4 chicks

17/06/2020 Highlights -

Over the last few days I have Managed to get tickets to Dudley Zoo and Chester Zoo which got me thinking lets see how many juvenile species I can get in the garden.

So here we go with the list please remember this is for 15/16/17th -

Blue tit, Great tit, House sparrow, Dunnock, Robin, Greenfinch, Goldfinch, Great spotted woodpecker, Magpie, Long tailed tit, Coal tit, Wren, Song thrush, Starling, Mistle thrush, Bullfinch & Nuthatch

2 Cormorants just flew over in the general direction of Wassle Grove Fisheries

Best flight over of Gulls last night for quite some time at least 400 over maybe a lot more.
Mostly large gulls but 4 very large gulls couldn't say what species as light was very poor

Just wondering does anyone do any gull roosts at either Edgbaston or Bartley these days.

Forgot to mention at least 12 swifts still around and the pipistrelle bat colony seems to have grown to around 20 bats these days

Large dark coloured gull ? over tonight with flock of LBBG

A gull over this morning looked different from the normal fly overs
It appeared to be larger than normal with a more direct flight.
Any identification would be great please?
