PieWie, I have moved the Mascarene Petrel, Ogea Monarch and Royal Parrotfinch to the "Seen" list.

Fiji Petrel is already on the "Seen" list.

Tonga Megapode, Vanikoro White-eye, Vanikoro Monarch and Vanuatu Megapode are not on the "Not seen" nor the "Seen" lists. Are you suggesting that they be put on the "Not Seen" list?

Don't know if this thread is still going but I have seen a few Congo Peacock. Last year I was living in a remote field camp in the DRC and was lucky enough to see a few pairs. You would hear them almost every other day.

Unfortunately not but I am hopefully returning at the end of august for 9 months so will try and snap one then.

Wow, I would be certainly interested in hearing more about your visit and perhaps other birds and mammals. Possibly in a separate thread, not to make off-topic.

@Larry
I think PieWie meant that Tonga Megapode, Vanikoro White-eye, Vanikoro Monarch and Vanuatu Megapode were supporting very interesting birds which he has Seen.

Hi, I won't add much here then and may make a thread at some point. Just quickly I was habituating bonobos so saw them, and a bongo, plenty of monkeys and of course countless birds such as the congo peacock, great blue turaco, green breasted pitta and african grey parrot. My you tube channel has a few short films from then.

I may be going back at the end of August for another 9 months. Any Congo specials still on that list?
