Hawk, Guapiles, Costa Rica (1 Viewer)

Well-known member
just back from Costa Rica with a pile of unidentified shots. Managed to id over 50 but stuck with a dozen or so. Here's the 1st, a hawk. Is it a broad-winged hawk or something else? Thanks for any help received.
GPS info is in the exif if it helps.

If you have other shots of this bird, it might help to upload them (even if they are photographically less perfect). However, I think this is Broadwing - I think with this shot some rufous should be visible in the wings of the roadside hawk which is missing in your shot.

Thanks everyone. Here's the only other shot I have with a slightly different view
