I think that is an intermediate to dark type swainson's hawk. It lacks the dark bar on the leading edge of the wings, has primaries extending the length of the tail and has light undertail coverts. But my experience with swainson's is limited. Also the white face is very swainson like.

Hi,
I believe this is a Swainson's Hawk. An adult intermediate morph, which Wheelers describes as the "all-rufous type". Red-tail does not have a morph with this type of coloration AFAIK.

Agree on the species - type rufous morph. Great images!
Note that the pale area on the primaries is confined to the outer 2 primaries compared to greater pale area on Red-tailed Hawk. Lack of 'patagial mark is evident
