Hi everyone!

I really glad to join this Birdforum community ).

I have no experience in a Bird watcing yet, but I'll give it a try.

I started to collect binoculars a year ago, and can't stop to do it. Now I've ten binos.

And I'm looking for a reason to not to buy eleventh one.

Hi, Jagu. Welcome to the forum on behalf of the staff and moderators. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group.

Hi Jagu and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.

And I'm looking for a reason to not to buy eleventh one.
Here, the number 'eleven' is not very popular, don't worry... But on the other hand, numbers 'twelve' and 'forty two' are very celebrated, also, I'm not sure if this is the best place to avoid any temptation !!
But admit it and don't lie to yourself anymore, you know very well what you're doing when coming here !! You and your credit card have been warned !😜
Welcome !

Hi Jagu,
There is no need to stop collecting, you can simply limit the inventory you are willing to carry.
So when the limit is reached, you force yourself to sell as many as you buy.
It works wonders for maintaining a sober eye when you know that something must be sold to make room for the newcomer.
Plus it is a lot more fun finding like minded binocular enthusiasts than just adding stuff to the collection.

Hello Jagu,

I surpassed ten long, ago. Bird watching, observing nature, hunting and star gazing are good uses for binoculars. For bird watching, I use only one, most of the time.

Stay safe,
Arthur

Many thanks, guys for warm welcome and advices!
