Hello everyone! Night call, Spain (1 Viewer)

Most definitely NO

Most definitely NOT a Little Owl :)
Where we live (in the mountains), they sound like a small cat mewling! But thank you!
Little Owl have a huge repertoire: they have excitement calls, beckoning calls, song, contact calls, soliciting calls. The small cat mewing sound is the hooting (song) of the male. See my message above for why I'm 99% certain it's a little owl. Scops Owl calls are not that prolonged

You're very kind. It is not the sound of a Little Owl where we live. We watch them every night, and hear their calls. They never change, always the same pitiful cat-like meow!
I do have quite a breadth of knowledge when it comes to them!
It's either an Eagle Owl, Scops Owl or ????
Evidently, we may never know, but I'm happy to hear it, nonetheless 😀
