Hello from the land of maple syrup, poutine, and people who routinely get into a "Canadian standoff" over who's going to use a doorway first.

I just thought I would introduce myself. I am not a birder per say, but I love being in nature, hiking and exploring. I am wanting to upgrade my binoculars. I came here to learn, so a big thank you to all those who share. There is loads of great information here!

Thanks. I've certainly taken one or two pictures of birds over the years. Here are a few images from Reifel bird sanctuary (near Vancouver BC) from a few years ago.
