Hi there - I have recently retired and am new to bird watching. I bought my first pair of binoculars last spring and am currently looking at a camera for documenting what I see.

My husband is an avid birder and we have bird feeders in our back yard.

Given the current Covid restrictions, all my "in person" education opportunities are on hold - but I have taken a few online / zoom classes. I joined ebird and have registered for the Project FeederWatch via Birds Canada.

Looking forward to exploring this site.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.

A warm welcome from myself as well...you and your husband are located in an interesting area with having a close proximity to the Rockies and the eastern grasslands giving you an interesting mix of birding to explore, you will have lots of fun.
