Hello from Essex, UK (1 Viewer)

Not new to birding but spent much of my life being both busy with life and specialising as a generalist. The consequence of this is that I now know something about lots of things but am not a real expert on anything!

When it comes to nature, my first love has always been birds and I am now trying to improve my knowledge as I have just tripped over the boundary into my seventh decade of life (to be clear, just hit my 60s!) and I have just made my first forum thread (apart from this one) on birdforum.
