Hello everyone,

I just started a YouTube channel about birds that live around my house and eat off my feeders. My cats just love watching them and I thought other might enjoy watching them as well, that why I started to record them and posting them online.

Please check out my channel if you are interested.

Also there is a Blue jay with some kind of injury, it seems to be healthy and full of life outside of the injury but I am wondering how common is an injury like this.

Thanks everyone

Hi, welcome to the forum on behalf of the staff and moderators. I think you will fInd us a friendly and helpful group. Can’t help with the injury, doesn’t seem to be bothering him to much.

Hi bluejay sounds and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators.

I'm the same as Lisa with not know what's caused that injury (maybe caught it on a barbed wire fence?). He seems to be managing pretty well though.

Would be an idea to keep an eye on him and if it worsens we have some general guidelines here for the care of injured and baby birds which might help you decide what to do.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.

Hey thanks for the welcome.

It's been able 2 weeks since I first noticed the injury, and the blue jay really do seem healthy and happy really for all the food.

Hey thanks for the welcome, and I will keep that in mind but it's been like 2 weeks since I first noticed the Blue jay with the injury and they seem healthy and happy.
