Hi all, I came across this forum while doing a bit of binocular research and decided to join. I live in North Norfolk UK and would like to expand my birdwatching a little. I’ve got a couple of pairs of binos, an Avian F 8x42 and Hawke Frontier ED X 10x 42. I’ve been a casual binocular user all my life but now I’m trying to do a bit more I’m finding that as a spectacle wearer the above instruments pose challenges in being used with comfort. So …. I’m definitely a newbie!!

Hi, welcome to the forum on behalf of the staff and moderators. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group. and don’t worry everyone on here were newbies at some point and don’t mind answering questions.

Hi MagicBus and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.

Many thanks for the warm welcome. My father was a very keen naturalist and devoted his life to the study of birds. He was also a talented artist. I inherited the Hawke binos from him.
