Hello from South Florida (1 Viewer)

Hi, welcome to the forum on behalf of the staff and moderators. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group. We do have a forum for information on birding in Florida, it is:

Also the easiest way would be to meet up with folks in your local Audubon Society, they usually do walks, etc to get you involved.

Hi there and a warm welcome to you (y)
We're glad you found us and please join in wherever you like ;)

Have you tried calling your local Audubon?

Hi Lastovitchka and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.

Welcome to birdforum, depending on where you are in South Florida, you'll find a different Audubon chapter with different activities. The chapter I'm a part of, Tropical Audubon, has on big walk/drive left before the Christmas Bird Count this upcoming Saturday to the Everglades.

If you're interested in joining us, here's the link page: Flamingo Area Birding — Tropical Audubon Society
