Hello everybody!
I'm from Washington State in the US. We have a lot of beautiful birds here and I love to watch them from my window and go on little birding expeditions. I'm an at-home birder enthusiast without much fancy equipment other than binoculars and birdfeeders. :) I've been birding for a few years now and my goal is to write a book about all the birds on the small island I live on. For such a small area, though, there is huge bird diversity! I especially love watching shore birds, birds of prey, the little common songbirds that come to my feeders, and varied thrushes.

Very happy to be here, and I can't wait to meet you all and talk about birds! 😁

(as I was writing this, a ruby-crowned kinglet flew up to my window for a moment. I haven't seen any of those at all this year, so I'm very happy!)
