I’m a casual bird watcher, but occasionally go to southeast Arizona for birds and astronomy. The birds in our yard in Tucson were very good this summer.

Looking forward to getting more deeply into it with the help of this forum.

Hi Mesquite and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.

Hi and welcome to the forum. You live in a great area for birding! Madera Canyon, Patagonia, the Sierra Vista area and the Chiricahuas are on your doorstep (I’m sure you know this already.)

Welcome Mesquite!
As Lisa has already written, those areas are great birding destinations and some of my favorites. I do a yearly Spring trip there from SoCal. Lucky you.
