Hi my Name is Connie, I am from Chicago, Illinois, I am an avid birder and photographer. I bird all year long. My favorite birds are song birds they are a challenge, but in reality I love all birds!!

I am planning a trip to Geneva Switzerland in beginning of April, 2025 for only two days, and I would like to get some advice where I could Birdwatch around the Geneva area. I definitely want to get shots of European Robin, European Chaffinch, Great Tit, Black Redstart. If anyone has any spots and good advice to share it would be appreciated!!

Happy Birding!
Connie

Welcome to Birdforum.

The Jardin Anglais has a good variety of garden birds such as the ones you mentioned.

Hi Connie and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. You may be interested in this Opus article we produced. It is based around Preverenges, on the north side of Geneva. If you won't have a car there is a train goes there: Preverenges - BirdForum Opus

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.

It’s about an hour by train, so a fair distance from Geneva itself if time is limited.

Hi Connie, welcome to the forum. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group.
