Hello,
I live in upstate New York, USA. Each spring we welcome a pair of nesting birds who rebuild their previous nest above a downspout on our house. I know very little about birds - we keep about four feeders in our yard and have frequent sightings of a great variety of woodpeckers, finches, hawks, cardinals, blue jays and owls.
I'd like some help identifying these two nesting birds who nest and hatch eggs each spring. I'm curious to know their type and how far they migrate each year. Any input would be appreciated.
Many thanks,
Matt
