Hello, there! I'm known as "Avon Avians" and I'm a New England wildlife enthusiast!
My username is derived from Avon CT, where I used to live, but I now live in NH, a state that is rich in all sorts of wildlife.
My favorite birds are probably woodpeckers, nuthatches, and chickadees, although I'm fond of all species, even invasive species like pigeons, starlings, and house sparrows!
I relish abundant "dime a dozen" species like gray squirrels, chipmunks, blue jays, cardinals, and robins, but I'm always open to a new backyard visitor. I'm always ready for the next sighting of a moose, deer, bear, fox, otter, or even a bison ranch, since this great species once roamed New England.
I also enjoy studying pond life.
I'm also very interesting in "wildlife landscaping" to attract a greater diversity to our yard naturally.

Hi Avon Avians and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.
