I'm a fairly inexperienced backyard birder from Chattanooga TN, in the Mid-South region of the US. We have a wide range of varied birds - this morning I delightedly watched a family of Downy woodpeckers at my suet feeder, side by side House Finches and Carolina Chickadees. My favorite seed feeder bird currently is an Indigo Bunting! I'd never seen one before and I was thrilled when he showed up the other morning! I am looking forward to learning much more about the birds that I'm watching - thanks for being here!
