I photograph and write about nature, including a monthly nature column published in a local newspaper. After living in the Blue Ridge Mountains or its foothills for more than 20 years, I recently moved to the foothills of the Alleghenies, in the watershed of the North Fork of the Shenandoah River. I also have a nature blog at wildideas.us, although since the move I haven't done much updating.
