Hello there, I'm new to the forum, from the UK. I went to some nature reserves a while back and enjoyed checking out the wildlife and it is now turning into a habit. I've been an astronomer for some years and so far I have just been using some of my gear from that hobby for bird spotting. I'm starting to learn the birds I'm looking at but at the moment there's a lot more I don't recognise than I do recognise!
