Hello (1 Viewer)

I'm Pete from Bingham near Nottingham in the UK. My main interest is finding birds in my local area with a few trips out of county. I have also travelled further afield ~ New Zealand, Arizona and various places in Western Europe. I'm also very interested in videoing birds, and digiscoping either with a Coolpix 995 (OK but images tend to be rather 'soft') OR with a Canon 30D using a 50mm lens (Results to date have been disappointing so will be hoping for advice!).

Hello there Pete and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum :t:

You've come to the right place for lots of inspiration on your endeavors ;)

Just a thought, are you working at full zoom on the nikon when you come up with your soft shots? If so, that may be one of the reasons for the soft shots.
