Help Identifying "Vintage" Binoculars: Looks Like Zeiss Dialyt 8x56, But Not Sure (1 Viewer)

I got this old binocular from my father in-law. He bought it ages ago.

The body looks like a Zeiss Dialyt 8x56, but the ribs towards the front are different at least from the ones I found online. Furthermore there should be ZEISS branding on the body according to the pictures i found. The weight according to a spec sheet I found should be 1020g, this one is 1120g. The sight picture is razor sharp no visual defects, even at low light. I found a "JAPAN" text on the cap at the middle of the body. Inside the binocular body when I look behind the front lens I found an "OC" (?) marking at the middle inner part of the binocular tube.

Is this a Zeiss? Maybe a fake one? Or a licenced copy of it?
