migration time is tough Veery or other thrush

Immature grey-cheeked thrush I think. Grey cheeks, grey flanks, strong spotting, back dull (not reddish), an eye ring but not prominent (e.g. not like Swanson's)

I'm not totally sure, but I'm leaning towards Veery here. This bird seems to show too rich of a rufous back for GC Thrush. Also, the spotting on the breast is infused with buffy orange, not a good point for Gray-cheeked. The final point would be that Veery is more likely to be seen with a gape line and fluffy plumage in New Jersey than Gray-cheeked (boreal breeder).
